“Music is a huge influence on kids and teens and for that reason I asked 2 very talented teenagers and siblings Grace and Jack Bydalek, to record “Shake it For Nobesity” Javitch explained. Their amazing voices and rap style delivery will resonate with other teenage listeners.
“When we first heard the song, my brother and I knew this song could help young people in a fun way,” added Grace, who has performed with symphonies, operas and high school musicals. “After recording “Shake It for NObesity,” my brother and I were rockin’ out to it. It’s a very uplifting song and I hope people across the country get to hear it – and soon!”, Grace added.
“We hope to shake it up and have the word ‘NObesity’ become a common word in everyone’s vocabulary,” Karen comments.
Grammy award winner Chuck Pennington( Mannaim Steamroller put year here) arranged the music which was recorded at (name of studio) 2012 Garmmy nominee!
“With all the work that Michelle Obama and so many others are doing to promote health and fitness I hope this becomes the song that sheds pounds in millions of people. Karen Sokolof Javitch has raised over $200,000 for national and local charities though her original music and scores. Her plays have been performed in Los Angeles, Chicago, St.Louis as well as Omaha and featured such prominent actors as John Beasley. She has won the TAG (Theater Arts Guild) three times. Her songs are also sung by elementary school children and in High Schools around the country. She also released an album dedicated to Patrick Swayze in an effort to heighten awareness and raise money for the cure for Pancreatic Cancer.
